Accommodation is in budget but comfortable self-contained

Day 1 Nairobi – Maasai Mara

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi at 7:00am and then head south. Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint (referred to as the Escarpment) and then head further south into the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. You will then get ready for your afternoon game drive, which will take place from 1600 to 1830hrs. You have a chance to explore the savanna in search of the “big five” (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant) in this wonderful game reserve. Other popular animals include zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena and more. After the game drive you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2 full day game drive at Masai Mara

Breakfast at the camp or lodge and thereafter enjoy full-day game drives with a visit to the Mara River. Here  you will get to see the huge crocodile as they bask in the sun and alongside them, you will also find hippos as they yawn their way to the surface of the water. It is also the destination of the eighth wonder of the world known as the great migration. During the great wildebeest migration, this river turns to a valley of death and only the fittest survive. Herds of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes cross the Mara River to seek greener pastures. This scene is among the 10 wonders of the world as it happens yearly.

Optional visit to Masai Village for a cultural tour can be arranged – $20 per person. Also optional Hot air balloon ride can be arranged this morning, then proceed with your game drive – $400 per person. 

Day 3 Masai Mara – Nairobi

Early morning game drive, this gives you a chance to see the beautiful sun-set at plains of masai mara. Return to the camp for a full break-fast then check-out and proceed to Nairobi. Stop over at Narok for lunch. Arrive at Nairobi at late afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or Airport.
