Amboseli National park

famous for its scenery, including the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro that dominates the landscape and looms over the open plains. The other main attraction here are the large herds of elephants, known as the “great jumbos”.

Tsavo parks

There are numerous rocky outcrops and ridges and part of the park, towards the Chyulu Hills, is of recent volcanic origin with lava flows and ash cones including the Shetani lava flow, an example of a recent volacano.

At Mzima Springs, in the North of the park, water that has filtered underground from the Chyulu Hills gushes from below a lava ridge into a series of clear pools.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Depart Nairobi at 0800 hrs and head south towards Namanga to Amboseli national park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing to see different animals and Kilimanjaro at the backdrop. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli

Morning and afternoon game viewing to see the animals which include, black Rhino, Lion, Buffalo, Gazelle, Cheetah, Wildebeest, Hyena, Jackal, Monkey, Masai giraffe, Zebra and Baboon.
Amboseli has a large number of Elephants and many different species of birds. All meals and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

Day 3:Amboseli – Tsavo West

After breakfast depart for Tsavo West with game viewing enroute, arriving Tsavo in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing takes you to Mzima Springs which is a fresh water source and a favorite haunt for Hippos and Crocodiles. Climbing Chaimu Crater gives stunning views from either side of the dense vegetation of the park. Animals seen in the park include Zebras, Leopards, Lions, and Elephants that tend to hide in the thickets. The birds include the eagles, buzzards, falcons and red-beaked Hornbills.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo – Nairobi

Early morning game viewing followed by breakfast. After breakfast, depart Tsavo for Mombasa, the driver will drop you at Mtoto Andei where he will assist you board a bus to Mombasa arriving in the afternoon.
